I run CyberRishabh — a YouTube channel and Instagram presence where I teach cybersecurity to regular Indians. Not enterprise security. Not penetration testing certifications. Real-world security for the kind of person who got a "Your KYC has expired" SMS this morning.
My audience is everyday Indians — students, parents, small-business owners, seniors. People who use UPI daily, get suspicious WhatsApp messages, and don't know who to trust online.
Why I built this.
India loses thousands of crores every year to cyber fraud. The 1930 helpline is overwhelmed. The tools available today are either expensive, designed for Americans, or filled with ads.
I kept seeing the same pattern: someone would ask "my parent just clicked an SMS link, what do we do?" — by then it was already too late.
I wanted a tool that could prevent the loss — not just help after. Something free. Something private. Something built for the Indian context: UPI scams, fake KYC, digital arrest calls, fake job offers on Telegram.
So I built it.
What this tool is.
ScamDetect India is a free, AI-powered scam detection tool. Paste any suspicious SMS, URL, UPI ID, or phone number — get an instant verdict.
It uses Claude AI (from Anthropic) combined with hand-crafted rules for 40+ Indian scam patterns. There's no login, no tracking, no ads. Your data is processed in memory and discarded.
What this tool isn't.
It's not a startup. There's no funding. No team. No paid plans.
It's not a replacement for the cyber crime helpline (1930). For active fraud, call 1930 first.
