ScamDetect India is completely free to use. We accept voluntary donations to keep the service running. Since the core service has no fees, there is no "cancellation" to process. Donations are non-refundable once processed, but if a payment was made in error, contact us within 48 hours.
1. Nature of the Service
ScamDetect India provides all its cybersecurity analysis tools free of charge. There are no subscription fees, no premium tiers, and no mandatory payments of any kind.
All monetary transactions on this platform are voluntary donations made by users who wish to support the continued operation and development of the Service.
2. Donations — No Refund Policy
Donations made through ScamDetect India are voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable because:
- The full value of the donation is immediately applied to service costs (API credits, hosting, infrastructure)
- No goods or services are delivered in exchange for the donation
- Processing fees charged by payment gateways (Razorpay) are non-recoverable
However, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for the following exceptional situations:
- Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error
- Unauthorized transaction: If a payment was made without your knowledge or consent
- Payment gateway error: If the payment failed but was still charged to your account
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 48 hours of the transaction:

- Include: Transaction ID or payment reference, amount, date of payment, reason for refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds, if approved, will be credited to the original payment method.
4. Cancellation Policy
Since ScamDetect India does not offer subscriptions, memberships, or recurring payments, there is nothing to "cancel." Each donation is a one-time, independent transaction.
If you made a donation intending it to be for a service that was not delivered, please contact us and we will evaluate the situation.
5. Payment Gateway
Donations are processed through Razorpay (razorpay.com). By making a donation, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not store your card details, UPI credentials, or bank account information on our servers.

6. Currency
All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR). We do not accept international cards for donations at this time.
